Out of the Ground:

Vehicle Maintenance Facility - Butcher and Associates designed a renovation and expansion to the existing vehicle maintenance facility at Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center.  The facility services military vehicles including the refueling tanker, provides office space for Base personnel and visiting units, training classrooms, locker rooms, and storage for parts and tools.  The $1.3 million project was designed under our current ID/IQ Contract, and construction will be completed in May 2010.

POL Building Expansion - Butcher and Associates designed a renovation and expansion to the existing POL Facility at Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center.  The facility oversees distribution of both vehicular and aircraft fuel at the Base.  The expansion provided new office space for visiting unit and Base personnel, conference rooms, a break room, and a fuel testing laboratory.  The $620,000 project was designed under our current ID/IQ Contract and construction was completed in March 2010.

March 2010 - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the recently completed 5,200 square foot training facility for use by the Medical Readiness Training Site (MRTS) Program.  The facility contains a 100+ person classroom, computer labs, administrative offices, and supporting facilities.  Design includes all necessary site work and pavements.
